2022 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture

In November, the entire ROCHE+ROCHE office went to the ASLA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, where we attended talks, field sessions, open studios and the product expo, to keep us all inspired and educated on the latest developments in landscape architecture.

Nancy Roche was a featured speaker at the conference, presenting California Planting Design: A Focus on Here and Now, joined by colleagues Collin Jones of Collin Jones Studio, and David LeRoy of Ground Studio.  The panel discussed how the unique climate and geography of California, along with the challenges of persistent drought, wildfire, and changing regulatory requirements, are shaping planting design in the state.
